James Hobbs

James Hobbs was born in Lincolnshire, England; he was an English soldi er in the East Indies, and an American Soldier in the War of 1812. Hi s wife was Sarah E. Dollard. The Hobbs family of VA was quite prominen t, and Jubal Erley of General Lee's Army was related to the Hobbs fami ly.
