Clarence Englund is mentioned on page 44, column 1 of the "Homeland Sc hools" put together by the retired teachers association of Republic Co unty, KS. He is under School Dist. #3, the Wayne School. It has hi s class picture in it in the year of 1912. Miss Fannie Frost was thet eachers and there were 28 students in the class. Victor Holmberg (the brother of Erick Holmberg, who becomes Clarence's brother-in-law when he marries Frances Englund) is also in the picture with Clarence.
