Emma Dunbar

  General Notes:

Grandmother Hallie had a small wooden box, kept in the little bedroomu pstrairs on the west side, that she called "Little Emma's Box." She an d her daughter Virginia used to tell us that the room was haunted byth e ghost of little Emma Dunbar, because that was the box that used to h old her toys. They both swore that the sounds of a child playing woul d periodically come from that room.
