General Notes:
Jeremiah died while on a visit to KY to the home of his sister, NancyC ash Keith in LaRue Co., KY. He served with the 13th KY Regiment, Kent ucky Militia in the War of 1812, as did his brother, William. Jeremia h preached in Warren, Spencer and Gibson Counties in Indiana and helpe d to organize churches in these areas. When he first went into Indian a, he went to Pigeon Creek, Warrick Co., IN and preached at the Churc h that the Thomas Lincoln family attended (Abraham Lincoln family).

I, Jeremiah Cash, now of LaRue County and State of Kentucky, being inf irm in body, but sound in mind and judgment, do this day make by lastw ill and testament.
First: I appoint Bailey W. Martin to be my executor, he is a residen t of Gibson County and State of Indiana --
Second: I wish all my just debts and funeral charges paid off --
Third: My wish is and do say - that my two sons Felix . and Samuel i s to have two years schooling, boarding, etc.
Fourth: My daughter Jane M. is to have her bed and bed clothing a co w and yearling and fifteen dollars in lieu of a saddle.
Fifth: After the above is complied with, the remainder of my estate i s to be equally divided among all my children. My son Claiborn J. ha s received twenty-five dollars; my son Job has received twenty-six dol lars; my son William has received twenty-five dollars; which amount i s to stand against them in the division.
This is my last will and testament, wherefore I have hereunto set my h and and seal, in presence of these witnesses this twenty-ninth day ofM ay, 1850.

At a county court began and held for Larue at the Courthouse in Hodgen sville, Kentucky on Monday the 22nd of July, 1850.
The foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the true and las t will and testament of Jeremiah Cash, dec'd, late a citizen of Gibso n County, State of Indiana, who died in said County of Larue and produ ced in court, and the same was fully proven as required by law, by th e oaths of Edmond W. Keith and Warren T. (or L.) Keith the subscribin g witnesses thereto, the same was established as the true last will an d testament of said Cash, and as such was ordered to be recorded.
Whereupon I have truely recorded the same this twenty-third day of Jul y, 1850.
