Information on this branch family provided by Jean Noel Cash, Sr.; 691 9 E. 15 Pl., Apt. 210; Tulsa, OK 74112, and published in THE ARKANSA S FAMILY HISTORIAN (see source information).

Isham lived and worked with his father in Granville Co., NC until 1845 , at which time (probably at the death of his father) he moved to Henr y Co., TN, near his Uncle Elijah, where he remained until the early pa rt of 1851. It is believed that his brothers, Dennis and Moses, accom panied him to Henry County but continued on to Hot Springs Co., Ark af ter a short time. Isham Cash's move from Henry Co. to Hot Springs Co . in 1851 may have been prompted by the illness of Dennis, who died i n 1854. Isham remained in Hot Springs Co. untill Oct 4, 1858, at whic h time he purhcased 160 acres near DeGray, Clark Co., Ark adjoining th e land farmed by his cousin (James Cash, Jr., the grandson of Joseph,J r. and the brother of Isham's grandfather, Peter, Sr.). Isham and hi s family continued to live near DeGray until Dec 23, 1864 at which tim e he purchased several hundred acres 2 miles NNE of Antoine in Clark C o. and moved there shortly after.

After his wife (Nancy Haley) died, Isham deeded all but 160 acres to h is son (John Henry Cash) in 1883 and married his second wife (Christia n Morrison).

Isham married Nancy Haley, daughter of John Frances Haley and Frances Adeline, on Aug 21, 1835 in Granville Co., NC. (Nancy Haley died in 1882.)

Isham next married Christian Morrison on Aug 28, 1883.
