Bennett died in the mental hospital in Hopkinsville. He went to workf or the Bland family. Mrs. Bland was a daughter of Gabriel Tischneur, a well known name of the Confederate Army in KY. He lived with theBla nd's until their death, then went to live with Mrs. Bland's sister, wh o lived near Red Mills, Hardin Co., KY. This is from Mary Jane Bland , daughter of the Blands.
