William Ballard died September 14, 1799 (ref: Probate of will) havingg one to visit daughter Mollie. Mrs. Michael Kessinger, on a farm adjoin ing the old Billy Ballard place on Indian Creek. He died after a shor t illness. His wife is also buried there. Names and dates for their st ones were done by Johnson Ballard, son of James and Jennie Keaton Ball ard.
