Charles married Lucinda Harned, daughter of Jonathan Harned and Elizabeth Cash, about 1864 in Hardin County, KY. (Lucinda Harned was born on Apr 9, 1825 and died between 1826 and 1919.)

Charles next married Susannah Keith, daughter of Jesse Keith and Nancy Cash, in 1837. (Susannah Keith was born on Aug 31, 1815 and died on Apr 2, 1863.)
