Jacob Mann

From "Morton's A History of Monroe Co., West VA; 1916, reprint 1988 pp . 475-376 "Mann, The brothers Jacob and Adam were natives of Germany a nd came to Indian Creek near Greenville soon after 1770. They helped b uild Cook's Fort and had some narrow escapes during those days of conf lict with the red men. Jacob married Mary Kessinger, and Adam married( 1) Polly Maddy and (2) Polly Flinn.
