Ulrich Shirk

Ulrich Shirk was born January 1665 in Berne, Switzerland, died aft 173 2 in Lancaster Co., PA. He was married in 1702 in Switzerland to Helen e Meyer, born 1681, Switzerland. He is buried in Conestoga Cemetery, a nd of the Mennonite faith. All thier children were born in Switzerland , and the adult sons emigrated to America in 1729, bringing along thie r parents and two sisters. They settled in Lancaster Co., PA in 1732.a cquiring more than 2000 acres of land in Cocalico Township.

Ulrich married Helene Meyer in 1702 in Switzerland. (Helene Meyer was born in 1681 in Switzerland.)
