Kenley W. Mann; Pvt. Co. C, Vawter's Battery, Enlisted 5/29/62 (30th B attalion VA Sharpshooters) at Union, Monroe Co., WV. One record says h e was a substitute for Lewis J. Mann at age 18. Present until 2/28/63r oll. NF. Had accussed Captain L.A. Vawter of striking him with a swor d on 8/1/62. (Vawter found guilty). Later enlisted in Chapman's Batter y 8/19/64 where he was present until paroled 6/12/65 age 19, 5'9, blu e eyes, light hair. Died before 1917. Residence Monroe County, WV. Lis ted on 1860 Monroe Co. census as Kenley W. Mann, age 15, day laborer,f ather Squire/mother Julia.

Kenley married Mary C. Unknown.
