Dunbar, Ephraim W. Dunbar, Cynthia P. Dunbar of county and State aforesaid in considertation of $1,2500.0 0 paid, do sell unto the above Dunbar's a certain tract of land lying on the waters of Walkers Creek in Giles Co, containing 201 acres made for William Phillips other for 197 acres, near an old lime kiln to Wil liam Brown's line. Recorded April Court 1834.
From the Annals SW VA, Ephraim Dunbar married Elizabeth Harman, Januar y 24, 1814 in Tazewell Co., VA. Ephraim Dunbar bound to Jacob Carper- tanner, Botetourt Co, VA 1796. Justices of The Peace for Tazwell Co., VA from 1800 to 1852. Ephraim appointed Justice of the Peace April 182 2.
It was ordered that Ephraim Dunbar be recommended to the Governor asa fit person to be added to the commissioners (Justices) of the Peaceof this county. Thomas Mann Randolph was Governor at this time. Ephraim D unbar also did land transactions with William Ballard, Susan Ballard' s brother in Tazewell County. William Ballard sold 195 acres to Ephrai m Dunbar.

His widow Elizabeth married Lewis Neal before November 24, 1828 (Giles Co., Legislative Petitions, Box A, #26782 and #6783, date d 6 December, 1827 and 11 December 1828, Virginia State Library.
